Test Lead

DUTIES:

• Provide hands on test leadership to the test team and respective business units.
• Assist the Test manager in overseeing Testing activities according to the test plan and test strategy.
• Oversee the defect logging process alongside the QA team and respective business units.
• Provide reporting of test progress, results and key metrics to stakeholders at agreed intervals.
• Assist respective business units test co-ordination with external parties.
• Ensure that all test requests are planned and completed, in-line with agreed project priorities and against timelines agreed during the planning cycle.
• Identify and rectify any causes of delays/failure to successfully complete testing requirements.
• Keep stakeholders updated about constraints that cannot be rectified independently within a reasonable period.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Gauteng (3 days a week in office)
• 6 month initial contract.
• We require a self-starter with an outgoing personality and the ability to communicate at all levels as the duties will include supervising the test process on behalf and provide updates to the relevant stakeholders. They must also have experience in testing in an Agile development environment.
